About Me

Hello, my name is Kelsey and I’m the face behind the hairstyles you see on my social media- Hair by Kelsey. My passion for hair styling came from a young age as I would admire the hair transformations my mum created as a hairdresser and the relationships she made made through her work.

In 2021 I started my hair styling journey and invested in high quality, hands-on bridal hair training with two of the best names in the industry- Hannah Taylor & Kasia Fortuna. 

I am certified in Bridal hair and have attended multiple in person and on-line masterclasses to enhance my skills and techniques. I pride myself in always learning and developing new skills, techniques and keeping up to date with new styles.

My signature style is soft, romantic, modern and effortless but I do also love a classic style as you will see in my gallery.

I am based in a salon in Goole, East Yorkshire where I hold trial appointments and occasion hair styling. For wedding mornings I am freelance and I travel to your venue or home to get you and your bridal party ready for your special day.

When I got married in 2022 I really did love every second of my wedding day, bridal prep is such a big part of your day and I am so lucky to be a part of it. My favourite moment of a wedding morning is the dress reveal to parents and bridesmaids, it never fails to make me smile and feel emotional.
